Returns Policy

On line Purchases – Items returned within the fourteen-day cooling-off period

Under the ‘Consumer Contracts Regulations’ (The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013), you have a 14 day ‘cooling-off period’ after you have received the goods.

The Regulations states that you the consumer has 14 days, commencing the day after delivery, to inform us of your wish to cancel your purchase and to return the goods. You then have a further 14 days from the date of that communication in which to actually return the goods to us.

The right to return is unconditional and cannot be refused, but we are able to deduct a reasonable charge for diminished value in the goods, caused by the consumer handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function. The general test is whether the goods have been handled in a way beyond what would be reasonably allowed in a shop.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the fourteen-day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item (after deduction of any reasonable diminished charge, if necessary) and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

• where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we’ll refund the per-item charge for the item that you incurred at the time of order.
• where you are returning an entire order, we will refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred.
• we will refund only our standard postage charges for all items delivered.
• where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.
• You will be liable and pay for the items to be returned to Electronics for Adventure. We cannot be held responsible for returns lost in the post.

Please return with all original packaging and paperwork.
